Lavender Cottage
This cottage has recently changed hands and we have recently finished refurbishing it to a high standard, with gorgeous bamboo floors throughout the ground floor, new bathroom and kitchen and new high quality furniture. Unlimited WIFI and freesat in two rooms.
Ground floor
Kitchen - kitchen with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave etc. Full batterie of kitchen equipement as we like our cooking. Table and chairs for 4.
Modern bathroom suite and additional over bath electric thermostatic power shower.
Living room containing a John Lewis sofa and two chairs. New woodburning stove, HD freesat, 32 inch LCD TV and HD scaling DVD player, some books, DVD's and games. Wifi broadband. Coffee table and dresser. Telephone for incoming and local outgoing calls.
Multi fuel stove and some wood for stove in the colder months.
Utility room containing washing machine, ironing board and iron, cleaning materials, and storage for the highchair and travel cot.
Upstairs
Main bedroom has a full king size bed, room for a cot, 19inch flat screen Tv with DVD player and HD freesat. Handmade wardrobe, drawers and bedside tables. Hypo-allergenic Duvets and pillows with 400gm Egyptian cotton sheets on all beds. Soft fluffy Turkish towels. (Provide your own beach/swimming towels)
Full size twin beds in the second bedroom. Handmade furniture with additional hanging hooks.
Saturday changeover - short breaks out of season and may be flexible with dates if we have availability.
Wonderful for summer or winter breaks, bird watching, snuggling by the fire etc. Good food and sea air.
This cottage is child friendly, with toys plates etc. Travel cot with soft matress (provide own bedding for this) and highchair.
Small private courtyard garden to the front of the property within the larger yard, looking out over flowers and shrubs. Contains seating for 4 including sun umbrella and good quality Weber bbq
The cottage is located inside a yard accessed through a pathway with a house above, therefore there is no parking directly outside. There is parking available on the road outside the yard, the nearby bed and breakfast and a little further down the road (10m) by a wall.
The cottage is in central Cley with easy access to the village centre, beach and local amenities. 100yds to a fabulous pub and restuarants.
Cley itself has the famous Picnic Fayre deli selling a range of well selected foods. There is also the equally famous Cley fish smoke house. There is also galleries, a book shop and tea shops in the village. Close by is the small Georgian town of Holt with a supermarket and department store and also a range of restuarants and take aways.
Many beaches, bird watching locations etc. Loads of local activities in local area to suit every requirement.
There is some work going on to the cottage opposite till Jan /Feb 2016. It is happening weekdays between 9-5 with quiet work 8-9 in the morning.
