The Woodman is one of a suite of 4 cottages and can be booked together with the others for larger groups. The Lodge can accommodate 23 guests (depending on sleeping arrangements required) and the dining room of the Middleton can easily accommodate everyone for dining. There is lots of off road parking.
The Woodman is a lovely cottage with many features of the old inn.
The cottage is accessed from the front of the building. It has its own front door leading into a large front porch. Stairs then lead up to the living accommodation.
There is a through room with a dining kitchen and a lounge area.
Each bedroom has a comfortable double divan bed with pocket sprung mattresses. Both bedrooms have a clock/radio alarm with an Ipod/Ipad docking station.
There is a large bathroom with a corner bath and shower.
The Woodman has a 38 inch TV with a 3-D viewing option and a Blueray player.
For the warmer weather there is a large shared garden with tables, benches and parasols and there is plenty of space to barbecue. A coal barbecue is available but coals are not supplied.
There is no charge for WiFi.
There is a shared access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. The use of the laundry room is free but you will need to provide washing powder.
The Lodge has a large purpose built secure cycle store with bike stands; also laundry, boot store and drying room.
A welcome pack will greet our guests on arrival. Also a starter pack will have soap, washing up liquids, dishwasher tablets and a black bin liner. You will need to replace these when used up.
The Woodman is not suitable for small children.
There is lots to see and do in all types of weather in and around the Lodge. Please visit the 'Out & About' page on our website.
The River Wye is at the rear of the Lodge and can be accessed directly from the Lodge over a stile - a mere 50 metres, and the Wye Valley Walk is just the other side of the river.
