All of these 4 Star luxury holiday cottages have their own private external entrance.
The Middleton is on the ground floor and is the largest cottage. It has both front and rear access doors. The front double doors lead into a conservatory porch which has a table and chairs. From here another double door leads into the lounge area of a large open plan living space in the middle of which is a chimney breast which separates the lounge from the kitchen and dining area.
The bedrooms are accessed from a wide, L-shaped hallway. There is a bedroom with twin beds and ensuite, one with a double bed and ensuite and the third bedroom has a kingsize bed with a bathroom just across the hallway. Two bedrooms have a double shower.
Each bedroom has a clock/radio alarm with Ipad/Ipod docking station. The comfortable divan beds have either pocket sprung or memory foam mattresses.
For those wishing to book for large groups it is ideally placed to accommodate all members of the group for dining. It will seat 20 plus quite comfortably. It is perfect for family gatherings, organised groups such as walking groups, cyclist groups, residential conferences and the like. Please note however we do not accept single sex groups.
There are no steps so the Middleton is suitable for independent wheelchair users. There is a wet room fitted with aids for guests with limited mobility.
There is a 42 inch Panasonic Freesat television in the lounge with a 3-D viewing option. There is also a Blueray player.
In the warmer weather there is plenty of space to enjoy the garden with tables, benches and umbrellas. A coal barbecue (no coals supplied) is available.
There is shared access to a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is no charge for this but guests will need to provide washing powder.
There is no charge for use of WiFi.
On arrival there is a welcome tray for guests. There is also a starter pack with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, a bin liner, soap and toilet paper. Guest will need to replenish these when used.
Pets are welcome by arrangement but must be kept under control at all times as there is a public road nearby. There is a charge of £3 per night per pet.
There is lots of off road parking
A large purpose built secure cycle store with bike stands and a jet wash is available - it will accommodate 20 plus bikes. Also there is a laundry, boot store and drying room.
