Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages traditional buildings and the once used stocks on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry it is now home to many antique shops galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town visit Moreton-in-Marsh Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest. Heading into the house there is a useful entrance hall of which has a WC. The lounge is close by with ample comfortable seating and TV/DVD and hi-fi. The kitchen/diner is next door and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob a microwave a dishwasher and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together. The cottage is the end terrace of three positioned away from the road and has a suntrap garden which catches the afternoon sun perfect for relaxing on the patio or to enjoy a BBQ in the afternoon or evening.
