Located just a few minutes from the market square in Stow-on-the-Wold there is an abundance of pubs restaurants antique shops and interesting boutiques to explore. One of the pubs The Porch House is thought to be the oldest inn in England dating back to 947AD and the town itself is rumoured to have originated as an Iron Age fort due to its position on a hill. The town is surrounded by some of the prettiest countryside that The Cotswolds has to offer with stunning views walks and quaint villages such as Bourton-on-the-Water Upper and Lower Swell and The Slaughters. Kids will love visiting the Cotswold Wildlife Park whilst other attractions nearby include the Batsford Arboretum Hidcote Manor and Birdland. The entrance hall is ideal for any coats and wellies that have been worn while exploring the surroundings leaving you warm and dry as you continue into the rest of the home. The lounge is a homely traditional room with a stone fireplace and wood burning stove comfortable soft furnishings and a TV/DVD perfect for cosying up on colder evenings and finding a film to watch. The classic dining room once again has a standout feature with the stone fireplace and wood burning stove taking centre stage; the table is large enough to seat up to six people however there is another table in the kitchen which seats up to four. The fitted kitchen comprises of an electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher fridge and freezer and there is a utility room featuring a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is one shower room downstairs with power shower and WC. Upstairs there are three bedrooms; one with a king-size bed the second with a double bed and the third with a single bed. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Outside there are two gardens. To the front is a large secluded walled garden with lots of mature shrubs and trees and a lovely decked area with outdoor seating next to a pond ideal for al fresco dining in the summer months. Just outside the back door is another bistro set perfect for a coffee in the morning. There is parking available for two or three cars on the driveway.
