Located close to the centre of Chipping Norton the cottage is well-placed for touring the Cotswolds area. Chipping Norton is a thriving market town (market day is Wednesday) with good local amenities; a lovely theatre for films music plays; a good choice of pubs; various restaurants; leisure centre; supermarkets and local shops. A local bus stops at the top of the road and connects to Kingham Railway Station for direct trains to Oxford and London Paddington. There are lots of other attractions nearby too including National Trust houses and the idyllic village of Stow-on-the-Wold. Quietly tucked away in a hidden location this mid-19th century holiday property is set within a welcoming grassy orchard and garden. On arrival at the cottage you will find the lounge/diner with ample space a feature fireplace comfy seating a TV/DVD and hi-fi. The kitchen comes equipped with a gas oven and hob a dishwasher washer/dryer fridge/freezer and a microwave. Also on the ground floor is the first double bedroom with a bathroom featuring a bath shower and WC close by. Upstairs reveals the other bedroom which has a double bed whilst there is also another room that can be made up into a bedroom on request (the maximum number of guests at the published rate is four so please enquire when booking if room is needed for a fifth guest). Outside is a lovely patio with a BBQ and garden furniture that overlooks a grassy orchard and a lawn garden. There are some pretty views across the rooftops of the town too. There is parking for two cars too.
