Day trips to the Blenheim Palace the Malvern Hills and the academic and historical haven of Oxford are all within reasonable driving distance. The Cotswolds is one of the lushest greenest areas of England and this holiday home is a perfect base from which to discover its joys. The ground floor is home to the main communal areas firstly a roomy and comfortable lounge with ample seating a TV/DVD/video and a wood burning stove. The room has exposed wooden ceiling beams giving it added character. The kitchen/diner has ample worktops and twenty people to dine comfortably. The kitchen area is equipped with an Aga-style oven and electric hotplate a washing machine/dryer dishwasher microwave fridge fridge/freezer and a hi-fi. A convenient cloakroom also contains a shower. There is also a bedroom featuring a double zip-and-link bed (which can be made into twin singles on request) and a single bed. Upstairs houses six more bedrooms. The first is a huge room sleeping five guests in single beds or two doubles and one single. Two more of the bedrooms contain three single beds whilst a fourth bedroom contains four single beds. The fifth is dormer bedroom with a double bed and a single futon. For convenience there are two bathrooms on this level one with a bath shower and WC. The second is a shower room. On the top floor is the Eagles Nest where you ll find some great views from the window. It is a bedroom with three single beds (which can be made up as a double and one single) and has a large en-suite bathroom. From the back door there is access to a secluded garden with furniture and a BBQ. To the front of the property is a large lawn area; the entire garden is enclosed too. For family fun there is a giant Jenga set and a shared giant trampoline and table-tennis set. There is also ample off-road parking.
