Located on the shingly beach at Pevensey Bay this property is ideal for children and guests looking for an old-fashioned seaside break. Steeped in history Pevensey Bay is home to a Roman fort Pevensey Castle and was also a famous smuggling site of luxury goods. Today the village has its own railway station making it easy for guests to reach nearby Hastings and Eastbourne and explore the many attractions eateries and shops these towns have to offer. The front door opens into a small porch where you can leave your coats and boots before continuing through to the hall and small kitchen beyond. Here you ll find an electric double oven and gas hob and dishwasher. Once you ve finished preparing your meals enjoy them in the dining room which is light and bright with a large rug brick fireplace with coal effect fire and storage trunk side table. Internal French doors connect this room with the lounge which is similarly airy thanks to sliding glass doors to the patio and features sofas colourful cushions and a TV and DVD player. The owners have left jigsaws books and binoculars to provide extra entertainment throughout your stay. As well as a bright and clean family bathroom with basin WC and bath with overhead shower there is also a twin bedroom on this floor. Upstairs on the first floor you will find the master double bedroom which is a serene and tranquil space with a vaulted ceiling crisp white linen and a door leading out to a roof terrace (suitable for Adults only). There is also a single bedroom on this floor which benefits from lovely views over the sea and a separate WC. Outside a patio area is the perfect spot to enjoy a summer BBQ or morning coffee looking out to sea. The patio gives way to a lawned garden that runs straight down to the shingled beach allowing you to make the most of this spectacular location all day long. The washer/dryer garden furniture and BBQ are stored in the boat house as you enter the garden.
