Brew House, The
Set on the lower slopes of the Quantock hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, along narrow winding lanes but only 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5, the Brew House at Sherwood is a great place to relax but also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and some of the attractions of the surrounding counties.
The Brew House stands between the old stable yard and the main lawn of the garden at Sherwood, so there is lots of space for children and dogs to run.
The Brew House is a great space for couples and small families. It has an open-plan kitchen/living/dining area down-stairs with a wood burning stove. The cottage is well insulated has double glazing and oil fired central heating.There are stair gates at both the top and the bottom of the stairs.
Upstairs there is a comfortable sized bedroom with a large sash window which overlooks the gardens and woodland beyond, and a smaller window that overlooks the old stable yard. This room can be used as a double or a twin and with the full sized guest bed it can be turned into a family room to sleep 4. The en-suite bathroom has an over-bath electric shower.
The Brew House can be linked to the Potting Shed via an interconnecting door.
