Hen House, The
Set on the lower slopes of the Quantock Hills which are, an area of outstanding natural beauty, along narrow winding lanes but only 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5, the Hen House at Sherwood is a great place to relax but also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and some of the attractions of the surrounding counties.
The Hen House has a comfortable open-plan lounge/dining area with a well equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.
A sofa bed in the central living area can be made up to sleep two extra guests if requested.
The Hen House is fully double glazed, well insulated and has electric heaters in the bedrooms and central area. Its south-east orientation and four sets of French doors, gives the Hen House a very light and open feeling.
The Hen House stands in its own walled and fenced yard and has a separate entrance from the road but guests are welcome to explore and play in the five acres of wilderness garden and woodland surrounding Sherwood.
