With public footpaths direct from the farm this is perfect setting for those wishing to explore the stunning countryside by foot or make the most of the riding stables nearby. Venturing further afield you are a short drive from the sandy beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe famous for their surf and popular with bathers and sandcastle makers. Visit the historic villages of Lynton and Lynmouth often referred to as Little Switzerland and take a ride on the famous cliff railway. Local family attractions include Watermouth Castle The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo. Leisure facilities: the farm is set in 10 acres and guests are welcome to walk the owner s fields perfect for those with dogs please be aware that some of the fields are set on steep slopes. Stabling: DIY livery with 2 stables available 50 per stable which includes all year round turnout straw and hay (please enquire prior to booking). Farm activities: guests are welcome to collect the chicken s eggs see the sheep with their lambs in the Spring visit the pigs with their piglets when breeding (due to the nature of farming these activities are seasonal) say hello to Charles the Shetland pony and Crystal and her foal Teddy who was born in April 2016; all by arrangement with the owner. Amenities: bed linen towels and electric included. Regret no smoking. Additional info: guests are advised to use the hand sanitisers onsite after petting the animals. Private water supply. Shared washing and drying facilities situated in outbuilding onsite free of charge. 1 basket of logs included per woodburner additional logs can be purchased onsite for 3.50 per net. Location: beach 3 miles shops and pub 2 miles. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with four poster bed feature beams and dual access to bathroom. 1 twin with en-suite wetroom. Bathroom: with roll-top bath with shower attachment and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: spacious open-plan living area with feature beams woodburner TV DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen area well-equipped with gas hob electric oven microwave fridge and freezer. Dining table and chairs. Outside: private lawned area with patio seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking for 2 cars.
