The beautiful Elan Valley, with its stunning reservoirs, offers superb mountain biking. Fishing is available here, on the River Wye and at Llyngwgn Lake. This is also a great location for bird watching and walking - popular paths include the Glyndwr’s Way and Cistercian Way, or visit the Offa’s Dyke centre at Knighton. Close by is the attractive Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells. This is a superb location for touring the heart of Wales, with the bonus of seeing the dolphins at Cardigan Bay and the golden sands of Aberdovey for a day trip. Shop and pub 6 miles.
