From the pretty harbourside, the world famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway takes visitors on a scenic journey to the home of Welsh slate, Blaenau Ffestiniog, for fascinating journeys underground exploring the slate caverns. Locally, enjoy excellent walking, bird watching and mountain biking, with the Coed Y Brenin centre being a short drive, where bike hire and an adventure high ropes course are available. Historic castles, championship golf courses and pony trekking are available nearby. Nearest pub serving food 1 mile.
