The location is perfect for exploring both coast and countryside – the nearby coastal path offers wonderful walking and the peninsula’s beaches are clean and fabulous (some have rock pools to explore too). The popular resort of Pwllheli , 7 miles, is also a favourite with the sailing fraternity and at Criccieth, 10 miles, there is a castle sitting high on a rocky promontory overlooking Cardigan Bay. Caernarfon’s magnificent castle, narrow gauge steam railways and the mountains of Snowdonia are all within easy reach. Shops and a pub serving food 0.5 miles.
