The Cider House is a detached, barn conversion cottage on a working farm on the edge of the village of Llanddewi Skirrid, just 5 miles from Abergavenny in South Wales. The cottage has one king-size double, one twin and one single bedroom and two family bathrooms, making it suitable for five people. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a wood burning stove. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars, a covered area for bike storage and a sitting area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Set in glorious countryside, The Cider House is a lovely cottage for exploring this part of South Wales.

Fuel, power and starter pack of fuel for woodburner inc. in rent (extra wood can be purchased from the owner). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot. Off road parking for 2 cars. Covered area for bike storage. Enclosed rear gravel area with furniture, BBQ and access to paddock. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 miles, pub 3 miles. Restaurant 1 mile.

The hamlet of Llanddewi Skirrid is just 5 miles away from the market town of Abergavenny which boasts a castle, museum, a market hall, shops and a multitude of pubs and restaurants.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

We all enjoyed the cottage although the weather was so good we were not there much. We were made to feel welcome by the owner.
