The pretty coastal village of Ferryside is a thriving community that still retains its village atmosphere. With a wonderful sandy beach, a general store, café, post office and pub, the village has a full range of amenities for visitors. Regular trains stop in the village providing easy access to Camarthen, Pembrey or Llanelli and the wide range of attractions in the region. The busy market town of Camarthen has plenty of shops, tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs to choose from while a visit to Pembrey Country Park, with its sandy beach, toboggan run and dry ski slope, is a great day out for all the family. There are castles, craft centres and mills across the landscape as well as the mysterious Merlin’s Hill Centre, shrouded in myth and legend and rich in wildlife. With walks from the doorstep and the cycle trail at the Millennium Coastal Path close by, this is a perfect a base for a relaxing or an active holiday for the whole family.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

We were in a good place to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, it was nice to be in a village where the children could ride their scooters down to the shop, beach, hotel etc. The house was a good place to come back to and relax after a good day out, had everything we needed and plenty of space for a family of five.
Mr Brown, Bath, Somerset
July 2012

,We had a lovely holiday, the house was beautiful and a pleasure to stay in.
Mrs Cuthbertson, Leeds, West Yorkshire
June 2012

,We have been to Crusty Hills several times and always have a great time there. It has a lovely homely feel and is very well kitted out - the owners have obviously put a lot of love and care into it. We'll be back again next summer.
Mrs Phillips, London,
May 2012

,Crusty Hills is a wonderfully cosy home from home. It has a very welcoming feel and we were especially delighted with some provisions that had been left to welcome us. The owners of the cottage certainly know how to make people feel at home. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 child and not one of us wanted to come home at the end of our stay.
Mrs Gay, Port Talbot, Castell-nedd Port Talbot
February 2011
