Situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline, Beadnell Bay is an attractive and peaceful harbour village established in Saxon times as an important fishing village and a 'smuggler's haven'. Somewhat more peaceful now, this settlement still lists fishing as one of its major sources of income but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and nearby sandy beaches. Within the village itself is a shop and two pubs which serve excellent food. The popular town of Seahouses is just over a mile away and has a further selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants whilst the nearby Farne Islands offer an excellent spot for bird watching whilst the market town of Alnwick is just a short drive away.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

We found the flat to be very cosy and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Mrs Jackson, Clitheroe, Lancashire
October 2013

,The flat was very cosy and comfortable and we felt at home. It had a good view towards the sea (as the name implies) and we found Beadnell to be a good centre for reaching interesting places.
Mr Bishop, Wetherby, West Yorkshire
June 2012

,It was a lovely apartment which felt very cosy, it was close to the beach and local pubs and it was an excellent base for exploring the local area.
Mr Robinson, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
October 2011

,A great base for seeing the magnificent coast. The local beach is ideal for families - totally safe and unspoilt.
Mrs Dyde, Sheringham, Norfolk
July 2011
