Set on the lane of a small working farm with lots of lovely walks direct from the grounds it is ideal for couples looking for a rural retreat. There is plenty to see and do in the area including visits to the popular Tamar Lakes which offer a variety of water sports and fishing as well as some excellent walking opportunities. The small sandy coves of Sandymouth and Duckpool and the larger beaches at Bude are just a short drive away. Other attractions in the area include RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington the delightful fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly and pretty Instow where you can sit and relax in the sand dunes or hire bikes and cycle along the Tarka Trail. Slightly further afield but still within easy reach days out could include Cornwall s Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: accessed via an oak open-tread staircase with king-size bed with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/diner: with large flatscreen TV/DVD. Kitchen: with electric oven and hob washing machine fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Outside: private enclosed suntrap patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: parking for 1 car with steps leading down to the cottage. Bed linen towels electric central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking in the property. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. Location: beach 7 miles at Sandymouth shop and pub 4 miles in Kilkhampton.
