Also in town visit one of Wales s favourite art centres The GLobe in Hay or visit the world famous annual Literary Festival which happens in the last week of May. Take a stroll down to the The Warren the local beach by the river which is perfect for a picnic or a swim. In nearby Glasbury you can rent a canoe. For walkers and cyclists head to the Brecon Beacons Par where you will find plenty of walks and places to explore by bike. Visit Llanthony Abbey nestled in the beautiful Llanthony Valley or head to Abergavenny or Hereford where you can visit the cathedral or do a bit of shopping.
