Set within thousands of acres of private farmland on a beautiful private estate each part of site has been created where possible from the surrounding woodland using local skills and artisan craftsmen. Centrally placed between the market towns of Abergavenny Hereford and Monmouth there is plenty to do should you venture out. Nearby attractions include foodie mecca of Abergavenny with Michelin restaurants and one of the best food festivals in the country. Bookish Hay-on-Wye with over thirty independent bookshops and local stores as well as an annual literary festival of international repute. Walking and biking is second to none with the Brecon Beacons National Park and Wye Valley within easy reach and bike pony and canoe hire readily available within the area. With a local pub within walking distance across the fields brown trout fishing available nearby and a cluster of Norman Castles within the area to explore it s the perfect respite from modern living. This unique glamping site offers: Living/sleeping area: open-plan area with woodburner (first basket of logs included thereafter you are welcome to forage for more wood or pick some up from the honesty box) double bed and futon dining table and chairs. Shepherds Hut includes: Kitchen area with gas hob basin and all the pots pans plates you should need. Fire pit outside which can also be used for cooking. Wet room style shower. A compost WC is located in a separate hut discreetly out of sight. Outside: large enclosed woodland fire pit and far reaching views. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen and towels included.
