Fishermen will be delighted with the river Esk which is within walking distance renowned for its excellent trout and salmon fishing. Walkers mountain bikers and munro baggers are well catered for with the Angus glens and Grampian hills close by. The vibrant cities of Dundee and Aberdeen with their excellent leisure and shopping facilities are within an hours drive or can be reached by train the train station is only 4 miles away.
