Enjoying a spectacular National Park position The Old Dairy offers guests great outdoor activities right on the doorstep. Just a short drive from the property guests will find themselves at Chatsworth House steeped in history and with beautiful parklands. Elsewhere guests can take a gentle walk along the waterside of Bradford Dale or simply stay in the pretty village and enjoy the peace and quiet. This character beamed stone cottage parts of which date back to the early 1700 s is approached from the cottage garden. The main door leads you into the lounge to your left which has flagged floors oriental rug and an open coal fire creating a very welcoming atmosphere. To your right is the separate and good sized dining room also with flagged floors an oriental rug and a second open fire inset in a gritstone fireplace. The beautiful oak table will seat up to 10 people for a special occasion. A single step takes you to the galley style rustic oak kitchen which has all the essential equipment you will need for your stay. To the end and open to the kitchen is a snug ideal for a little solitude or a children s playroom. The stairs from the lounge lead to the bedrooms the bedroom to the left has a double bed the main bedroom also has a double bed and an excellent sofa bed which could accommodate an extra small child. The bathroom has a bath with shower over toilet and hand basin. There is ample on road parking to the front of the cottage and a free cark park 100 yards beyond. The Old Dairy can be booked together with the adjoining Buttermilk Cottage to sleep 8 adults plus a small child. This is a perfect option for large parties who will then enjoy meals together in the formal dining room at The Old Dairy. Pets welcome.
