Situated on the edge of the expansive landscape of Biggin Dale leading to Wolfscote Dale and Dovedale guests of the property have endless options of outdoor space to explore. The cottage is also positioned within easy reach of the elegant country houses of Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall to name just a few. Guests approach the cottage from a sweeping drive through the grounds of the Grange. A delightful detached cottage with open-plan living space all set on one level framed by vaulted beam ceilings and stone flagged floors. Through the kitchen which is equipped with all the essentials guests find themselves in the sitting room with a log burning stove set into a gritstone fireplace and the original cheese press from which the cottage takes its name. The double bedroom with an en-suite containing a bath electric shower-over hand basin and toilet is located at the rear of the property. Outside there is a garden and private patio area at the front of the cottage perfect for relaxing and taking in the spectacular views. Cheese Press Cottage is one of three cottages at Biggin Grange which can be booked together to sleep 6 people. The Old Farrowings (sleeps 2) and Courtyard Creamery (Sleeps 2) which has a dining area that seats six people making the cottages at Biggin Grange ideal for groups and celebrating special occasions.
