There are many National Trust properties and gardens that are all well worth a visit including Stourhead Montacute Kingston Lacy Corfe Castle Hardy s Cottage and Studland Beach and Nature Reserve. In addition to this the towns of Dorchester Sherborne and Yeovil are easily accessible and there are many attractions to visit including Monkey World The Tank Museum a Sea Life Centre Abbotsbury Swannery and Longleat. For golf enthusiasts there is a golf course 300 yards away but if golf is not your game there are many other country pursuits within easy reach. Leisure facilities: shared indoor heated leisure pool (4 deep throughout) perfect for the summer and winter alike the pool is open 8.30am-8pm every day however private bookings are taken occasionally further information and timetables can be found onsite the pool is also open to non-residents by prior arrangement. Outside: the grounds offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside as well as two large lakes which attract a wealth of wildlife including herons badgers kingfishers woodpeckers and swans.
