Glentress Forest which is ideal for any mountain bike enthusiast is only 18 miles away and bikes can be hired if you prefer to bring your own bikes there is complimentary lockable storage at the property. Horse riding is also available within 2 miles of the property. Edinburgh is 30 minutes drive (with easy access to the Park and Ride) or alternatively use the hourly bus service.
