The spacious and well-equipped accommodation offers a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of country walks beside the river and through the fields. There is also alot of wildlife to see including kingfishers sandmartins buzzards and herons maybe an otter or skylark. You can also watch the wildlife on and around the river from the large hide overlooking the River Ottery on the Devon and Cornwall boundary. There are webcams set up to capture the wildlife around the farm which can be viewed on the TV in your cottage you may be lucky enough to watch swallows eggs hatching in the nest or bats leaving an old barn. A wonderful centre for visiting Cornwall and Devon. Many all year round attractions are within easy travelling distance including The Eden Project (purchase discounted fast track tickets available from farmhouse) Plymouth Aquarium Morwellham Quay and King Arthur s Castle at Tintagel. Leisure facilities: visitors can try their hand at clay pigeon shooting or fishing (both fly and coarse) on the beautiful River Ottery or on the smaller Boles Bridge stream which meander though the farm. Close at hand is the safely enclosed heated outdoor swimming pool (May - September). Visitors can experience Classic British Motorcycles when guided by John through the delightful North Cornwall scenery. Bikes include BSA Norton Triumph Panther and Ariel (bring own insurance licence and protective clothing please). Farm activities: meet the farm animals on this organic farm. Play facilities: giant sandpit games room (with pool tables football table and books and games) and orchard playing field. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Next to another barn but with a different style cosy and welcoming with quarry tiles parquet flooring fitted carpets views across fields and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 bunk bedroom with single bed with an additional pull out bed. Bird nesting box with glass panel set in the wall. Bathroom: luxury with bath shower and WC. Downstairs WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: comfortable and spacious open-plan living area with porch inglenook fireplace with woodburner (first basket of logs free) flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD and patio doors with access to a small seating area. Kitchen area comprises a gas cooker microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Outside: the upstairs opens out onto a quiet shared courtyard across which is the laundry.
