Wander into the traditional seaside town where you can enjoy fish and chips an ice cream and a flutter in the amusement arcades. Alternatively a couple of miles further on wander along the bustling quayside and narrow streets of Appledore a small fishing village with a varied selection of pubs and restaurants almost all of which serve excellent food with fish being a speciality. Family theme parks are also very popular The Big Sheep The Milky Way both offer indoor and outdoor activities should the weather be wet. Other places which are worth a visit are Clovelly a unique cliffside fishing village with cobbled streets and a pretty harbour the market town of Bideford with its weekly pannier market Burton Art Gallery Victoria Park and quayside where you can sit and watch the world go by.
