Overlooking the historic Bayards Cove in South Town and just a short level walk from Dartmouth's pubs, restaurants, boutiques and galleries this well presented cottage offers a good standard of accommodation with lovely river views over the River Dart and across to Kingswear. The property has been significantly upgraded in recent years and is an ideal 'bolt hole' for a couple or a family with older children (over 14 years of age only) in the heart of the town, just a few minutes walk from the river's edge.

LOCATION The cottage overlooks the famous Bayards Cove in South Town just a short level walk from Dartmouth's pubs, restaurants, boutiques and galleries. The Start Bay coastline can be reached quickly and easily by car with Blackpool Sands beach just 4 miles away.

VIEWS The cottage has lovely views over the River Dart and across to Kingswear from the sitting room and master bedroom.

ENTRANCE The property is accessed via Nelsons Steps, a narrow alleyway off South Town. The entrance door leads into a small lobby with stairs winding up to the first floor bedroom.

BEDROOMS On the first floor is a double bedroom with pine bed (4'6""), wardrobe, drawers and en suite shower room (with shower, w.c. wash-hand basin and heated towel rail). On the second floor (built into the roof space and adjacent to the kitchen/sitting room) is a small single bedroom. All bed linen but no towels are supplied.

KITCHEN/DINING/SITTING ROOM On the second floor is a very good sized open plan area with good views across the river. Modern, well equipped kitchen with beech worktops, 4-ring gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge. The dining area has a round pine table and 4 folding chairs. Large sitting area with two double futon sofas (one of which can be used as a double bed), single armchair, television and DVD player.

BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a small bathroom on the second floor (built into the roof space and adjacent to the kitchen/sitting room) with bath, w.c, wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.

PARKING* A seasonal parking pass is provided for the Mayors Avenue car park from 29th March 2014 for 6 months.
