UK Holiday Cottages

A delightful, traditional mid-terrace period 'seaside' cottage situated in the heart of a popular and picturesque fishing village, just a few yards from the lovely sandy beach, pub and local shop/Post Office. The cottage provides comfortable holiday accommodation for a family or one/two couples and is presented to a good standard having been redecorated and refurbished in recent years. Relax in the cosy sitting room with woodburning stove or enjoy a glass of something chilled in the sunshine on the small terrace.

LOCATION The cottage is in a terrace of similarly styled seaside cottages in Hope Cove, within easy reach of the village amenities, fine sandy beaches and the South Devon Coast Path.

ENTRANCE The cottage entrance opens directly into the ground floor sitting room which in turn leads down a small hallway to the kitchen/dining room at the rear.

SITTING ROOM A very cosy and comfortably furnished sitting room with two double sofas, two armchairs, wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and mini hi-fi system.  A door leads through into a hallway.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A spacious, sunny kitchen area with fitted units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and door out to the rear garden.  Dining table with four chairs and a bench. 

BEDROOMS Three, all on the first floor.  The largest bedroom has a double bed, bedside units, wardrobe and drawers.  In addition there is a twin room with stunning views, two single beds, wardrobe, drawers and wash-hand basin and a small bunk-bedded room (for children only).  N.B. All duvets, pillows and bed linen supplied - tenants require towels and tea towels.

BATHROOM On the ground floor is a small bathroom with bath (shower over), wash hand-basin and w.c.

OUTSIDE To the front of the cottage is a small terrace with chairs.  To the rear (not enclosed) is a garden area with picnic bench.

PARKING There is space for one car outside the cottage.

OTHER INFORMATION Mostly tiled and lino flooring downstairs with carpet in all bedrooms. Electric night storage heating and hot water supplied via immersion. There is limited mobile reception in Hope Cove.  Regret no pets. Strictly non smoking.
