Hingstons is a charmingly converted sandstone barn set in large attractive gardens within the lovely village of South Milton, just a mile or so from the beach at Thurlestone Sands.  The accommodation is comfortably furnished and very well equipped throughout, and is ideally set up for couples or young families looking for a cosy retreat in this popular location.  Guests are always made to feel very welcome, receiving a complimentary homemade cake and bottle of wine on arrival!

LOCATION Set within the pretty village of South Milton, just over a mile from Thurlestone Sands beach, and within a short drive of Thurlestone village with its famous links golf course, village stores and 4-star hotel.  The market town of Kingsbridge is just 3 miles away whilst Salcombe is within easy reach by car.

ENTRANCE The front door leads to a spacious hallway with parquet flooring. Steps up to the kitchen and sitting room beyond

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A fully fitted painted pine kitchen has a range of units and cupboards, four ring electric hob, integrated electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge and washing machine (Separate freezer located in the garage).  A large pine dining table seats six comfortably.

SITTING ROOM A cosy room with double sofa, matching armchairs, flatscreen TV and DVD player. A stable door leads out to the parking area.

BEDROOMS The first bedroom is a light and sunny triple aspect room with a King size bed and fitted cupboards. It is accessed through a larger twin bedded room which has mainly oak furniture and its own washbasin. A third smaller bedroom has its own washbasin and a double bed. All bedrooms overlook the attractive garden to the village beyond. (N.B. Guests requiring the use of only two bedrooms should select the rooms of their choice when booking - the third bedroom, to accommodate 2 additional guests if required, is available at extra cost).  All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are included (excluding beach towels)

BABY FRIENDLY EQUIPMENT  High chair, wooden cot, pushchair, bottle steriliser, toddler toilet seat, potty, books, toys and games are available.

BATHROOMS A good-sized, modern family bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, wash-hand basin and heated towel rail. (Adjacent, separate w.c.).  There is an additional CLOAKROOM on the ground floor with w.c. and basin.

OUTSIDE Spacious enclosed lawns extend in front of the property and down to a stream that meanders along the bottom of the garden. Garden table and chairs provided. Barbecue available. Table-tennis table and equipment in garage.  The gardens are shared with the neighbouring owners who respect the privacy of their guests.

PARKING For two cars in front of the gates to the property.

OTHER INFORMATION. Parquet flooring throughout most of the ground floor with carpets in sitting room and bedrooms.  Oil fired central heating and hot water. Strictly no smokers or pets permitted.  Broadband available N.B. Young children must be supervised at all times in the garden as stream is fairly deep.
