Our Grade II listed cottage has been sympathetically refurbished to provide the conveniences of modern day living whilst retaining the charm of period features: enjoy our inglenook fireplace, wood burner and wooden beams as well as the WIFI, flat screen HD TV and DVD player!
The cottage, including the 3 first floor bedrooms and ground floor snug with sofabed, has been furnished to a high standard and will meet the needs of groups of friends as well as families with children (see full details of bed sizes, furniture & layout below).
‘Thatches’ has direct access to its fully enclosed private garden and off-street parking area and is a short stroll away from Williton's shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. Watchet's marina and beaches are just 2 miles away. This is an ideal year-round holiday or short break destination and a superb base from which to explore West Somerset’s many places of interest including English Heritage and National Trust properties (ie Coleridge Cottage, Dunster Castle, Cheddar Gorge) and countryside (ie Glastonbury Tor). We have wonderful countryside on our doorstep, a beautiful coastline nearby and numerous fascinating historic buildings, museums and other tourist attractions in the area. Come and enjoy!
Please note: we require a fully refundable damage/good housekeeping/key deposit of £80 and an additional charge of £20 for each dog (payable directly to the owners 2 weeks in advance of your stay - further information on booking).

FIRST FLOOR
Bed 1: King size bed, bedside cabinets, large wardrobe with drawer & blanket box (& space for travel cot) leading to family bathroom (freestanding roll top bath with shower attachment, sink, WC, bidet & storage units)
Bed 2: Double bed + single bed with bedside cabinets, wardrobe & chest of drawers
Bed 3: Small double bed, bedside cabinets & small wardrobe with drawers.
GROUND FLOOR
Snug/sleeping area 4: double sofa-bed (please note - this is a separate room from the living area but there are no wardrobes or drawers in this room so technically it can not be classed as a bedroom).
Shower room: WC, sink with storage unit & shower cubicle
Living room: wood burner, inglenook fireplace, large sofa, armchair, chaise longue, 2 footstool/stools, side table, TV, DVD player, CD/ipod player, payphone, selection of DVDs.
Dining room: antique pine table (seats up to 10) with chairs, side table, serving trolley (currently used to hold selection of family games)
Kitchen: NEFF double oven/microwave, fitted dishwasher & washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, iron, ironing board, crockery & cutlery
Sun room: Small sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table & further 2 folding garden chairs, access to garden/parking space
Garden & parking space: fully enclosed - lawn & flowerbeds & paved parking space for up to 3 cars.
Garden furniture & barbecue, travel cot, highchair, baby listener & other baby/toddler sundries avail
