THE GARDEN LODGE - WITHYBEDS COTTAGE Two bedroomed, self catering, holiday home in an amazing secluded rural position. Set in our own gardens and originally renovated and refurbished for visiting family and friends, but now available for other guests. Single storey. One double bedroom. One Twin room. Double sofa bed in lounge. Therefore sleeps 4 standard but up to 6. The Lounge contains TV with a DVD player and also a CD player (please note that we do not currently have a TV signal or radio reception. We do however provide a range of DVDs and CDs for your entertainment) Lounge fronts onto terrace and lawned garden area with glorious panoramic views (see photos). Garden table, chairs etc Bathroom (bath with shower fitting, WC, handbasin) Small kitchen (electric hob, electric oven, washer, fridge/freezer, microwave) Plenty of parking space (no extra charge) The Lodge is, we think, "small but perfectly formed". She is snug and comfortable whatever the weather and the views are to die for. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE The Garden Lodge is self catering. Included in the price are all heat, light and electricity. Both the double bed and the twin beds are provided with duvets and pillows. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN BEDLINEN AND TOWELS If you intend to use the lounge sofabed, please let us know in advance and we can then provide extra pillows and duvet for the sofabed. There is no charge for this Should you wish us to provide bed linen and towels, we will be happy to do so by prior arrangement at a cost of £8 per head PET FRIENDLY We welcome pets. The dog friendly lounge/terrace arrangement will suit both you and your pal. Just open the french doors and you are both out in the fresh air and sunshine. We ask only that, for the comfort of other guests, you keep your pets off the furniture. There is an enclosed garden area to the front of the Lodge, along with over 80 acres of Common (grazed by horses and cattle) all but on your doorstep. THE AREA We are close to the small tourist town of Upton upon Severn (five minute drive), famous for Upton Jazz Festival, Upton Blues Festival and a variety of other events We are handy for (15 minute drive) the Three Counties Show in Malvern along with the numerous other events held at the site Also within easy striking distance are Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Worcester. We nestle between the Cotswolds in one direction (you can see Bredon Hill to the front) and the Malvern Hills (which are behind us in the photos) FINDING US PLEASE NOTE: that we are off the main road and that the track leading to us is not a public highway. From M5 take Junction 8 to M50 signposted for Ross. Turn off M50 at junction 1. At roundabout take right hand exit signposted for Worcester and A38. Keep following A38 through next roundabout. Travel 3 miles and turn right onto A4104. Drive past turnoff for Earls Croome (1/4 mile) and continue on A4104 for another 1/4 mile. On your left hand side is a truck lay by. Directly opposite on the right is a farm track - you can see a white cottage along the track. Take this track and drive past the white cottage. Go through the gates onto Smithmoor Common - CLOSE THE GATES - THERE IS GRAZING STOCK ON THE COMMON - follow track to end (1/4 mile). You will find us at the end of the track
