Centrally located Exmoor and Dartmoor are great for walking riding and cycling. Beach lovers will enjoy Westward Ho! Woolacombe and Saunton on the north coast or Sidmouth Exmouth and Dawlish on the south coast all offering long stretches of sand and ideal for surfing or bathing. The nearby town of Crediton is lively and has a good range of shops and an indoor pool.
