Set on a working farm and with a splendid open rural aspect, Brook cottage is in a very peaceful location, and with its own private garden is a wonderful place to get away from it all. the nearby farmhouse, which provides B&B accommodation and holds a Gold Salon Culinaire . There are some lovely walks in the woodland areas of this 65 acre farm and many more in the surrounding countryside, whilst the tiny lanes in the area are ideal for cycling. The cottage is well situated for those attending a Wedding or simply wanting to visit the historic Blacksmith's Shop at nearby Gretna Green. Other local visitor attractions include Hadrian's Wall, just 15 minutes drive away and Talkin Tarn. The Lake District National Park is only 30 minutes away by car and the pretty but often overlooked Eden Valley is also just a short drive away. Shop. Pub 6 miles. Restaurant 12 miles. Beach 11 miles.
