Guests will find themselves 2 miles from the market town of Wallingford the home of Agatha Christie and Midsomer Murders. A haven for walkers makes this an ideal destination all year round. For those looking to explore the historic and literary city of Oxford the honey coloured stone villages of the Cotswolds and the striking walks of the Ridgeway Trail are all nearby. Henley on Thames with its 5 arched bridge and historic buildings is worth a look and Blenheim Palace offers regular special events. Other days out include Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Swindon Outlet Designer Mall. Leisure facilities: 24 hour heated hot tub; fresh towelling robes and slippers provided. The south-facing lodge offers ONE bedroom: with king-size bed and en-suite wet room shower with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with iPod dock and woodburner. Kitchenette area with double hob and fridge/freezer. Outside: private veranda with hot tub garden furniture and BBQ/Chiminea. Communal hub situated a short stroll from the lodge provides a large seating area where you can take your wine and sit around the fire pit to enjoy amazing sunsets relax overlooking the lake partake in a spot of bird or wildlife watching (binoculars provided) or enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
