Low Fold Cottage is one of a handful of cottages on a small, private cul-de-sac in the picturesque village of Langcliffe, near the market town of Settle. The comfortable accommodation extends over three floors. Twin and single rooms are located on the first floor, with the bathroom and shower. The spacious master bedroom on the second floor has magnificent hill views; with a TV/DVD player and wicker armchairs it can also serve as an additional sitting room. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and there is an excellent range of crockery and electrical appliances, including washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and dishwasher. Children are especially welcome and a selection of books, games and DVDs is provided for all ages. Travel cot, high chair and stair gates are available at no additional cost. The enclosed rear garden area has garden furniture and a small barbecue. Please note, the garden is fully paved and there is no lawn. Well-behaved dogs are permitted by prior arrangement. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage.
An excellent selection of walks may be accessed directly from the cottage and you will find a variety of sporting activities locally: swimming, fishing, golf, horse-riding, tennis, caving, mountain biking. Equipment for many sports can be hired in Settle. Why not enjoy a day out on the famous Settle-Carlisle railway? You can break the journey with a visit to Appleby or even take the train to one of the many stations along the route then walk back to Settle. You will find there is a wide choice of walks to suit a range of ages and abilities. Tourist Information office is in Settle.
