There are many paths leading from the property which are the beginning of some fantastic walks onto the National Trust land of Cubert Common. A short distance from the property the dog friendly and surfing beach of Holywell Bay can be enjoyed. With it s sandy beach and sand dunes it has lent itself as a back drop to James Bond and Poldark. Along the coastal footpath with its dramatic cliff walks and open country views is another beautiful secluded beach Polly Joke. Surf school and hire golf course and further pubs and restaurants can be found in the nearby village of Holywell. Horse riding cycling diving and sea fishing are also available locally along with a selection of great surfing beaches to take your pick from. A short drive to Newquay you will find a zoo aquarium restaurants shops leisure centres swimming pool and a working harbour. Watergate Bay home to Jamie Oliver s restaurant is nearby and Padstow with its beautiful harbour great eateries and home to Rick Stein s restaurant is also a short drive.
