Bron-y-garth is a uniquely beautiful 6 bedroom country house situated just 2 miles from Bideford, North Devon, which can comfortably accommodate up to 22 people but can also be hired with 5 bedrooms at a reduced rate for parties of up to 18.
Set in 1.5 acres of grounds it enjoys unparalleled views over fields and valleys to the coast and Bideford Bay. Internally it is extremely attractive,very spacious and well laid out with facilities more than sufficient for larger groups. Externally there are extensive lawns,flower borders and a large walled garden with patio area which is ideal for barbecues and sunbathing. Available all year round with generous out of season discounts and weekend and short breaks to suit your requirements at very competitive prices. The very spacious property offers 6 bedrooms with the capacity to sleep up to 22 people. Bedroom 1, with en-suite bathroom, 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Bedroom 2. En-suite with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Bedroom 3. En-suite with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Bedroom 4. 1 double bed, 1 single bed and wash hand basin. Bedroom 5. 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Bedroom 6. On ground floor and with access to garden. En-suite bathroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. This room has it's own breakfast area and kitchenette. The main bathroom is upstairs. Two cots and two high chairs are provided.
Downstairs, extremely spacious entrance hall, cloakroom and toilet. Lounge with comfortable seating for 14, dining room with seating for up to 24 and dining area in kitchen to seat 8. Sunroom with views over the garden, shower room and toilet, door to the garden. The kitchen is large and well equipped and a range cooker is provided (gas hob, electric oven)There are two fridges. Off the kitchen there is a large utility room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, freezer, and a door to the garden with washing lines outside. A gas barbecue is provided which must be left in a clean condition after use, and plenty of garden seating and tables. Electricity is included in the price but Gas is payable by meter reading. Guests are required to bring top and bottom sheets for each bed occupied or these can be hired at cost to cover laundry. From 5th. January 2016 the new price list will include linen as standard. We do not hire towels.
