Lounge has a leather three piece suite,flat screen 32"panasonic TV, DVD player, with coffee tables,and radio.With picturesque views.
The comfortable living/dinning area has drop-leaf table seats up to five people Kitchen has kettle,fridge-freezer,microwave,toaster,electric cooker,extractor hood.Bathroom electric shower over the bath,wash basin,shaving points, mirror, separate WC. Two bedrooms one double bed one adult size bunk beds,both with wardrobes and chest of drawers.All rooms except WC have Dimplex heating.Pre-payment electricity by £1 coin meter.
Gold park recreation ground in the High street has a car boot every Tuesday. There are plenty of cliff top walks with extensive sea views. Mundesley also boasts many picture postcard views with many traditional brick and flint buildings which includes the village Post Office. Mundesley village offers a good selection of shops supplying most everyday needs.There are a general stores, a butcher, a fresh fish stall, hardware shop, florist, pharmacy,Tesco express, Chinese take away, fish & fry, four cafes in the village and a beach cafe which can be found on the promenade. There is free access to Wi-Fi within the Manor House Hotel and the Ship Inn. A ten minutes country walk away is Stow Mill which was built in 1827.
The Norfolk Broads is a short drive away and is an enjoyable day out. A visit to Wroxham Barns open all year round with it's junior farm and children's funfair,and lots of hand craft shops plus it's award winning restaurant on your way would be well worthwhile. Nearby National Trust properties include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and Sandringham Estate which is the Norfolk retreat of HM The Queen.
Nearby towns and villages to Mundesley include North Walsham where Lord Nelson spent his school days at Paston school.The 16th century market cross is the focal point of the town. Sidestrand the village is forever immortalized as Poppyland, due to the writings of Victorian journalist Clement Scott. Overstrand in the past was once a fishing village and this tradition still continues but on a much smaller scale. Wroxham is considered to be, and has been called the capital of the Norfolk Broads and is where boating holiday started in the late 1800's the village has a good selection of tea shop,cafes and restaurants. Horning Staith with river day time trips sailing from the Swan Hotel in Horning offered by Southern Comfort on there Mississippi Paddle boat with excellent commentary the Swan Hotel date back to 1696 and is a country pub & restaurant.Cromer which is the Jewel of North Norfolk with its traditional end of pier variety show fresh crab sandwiches can be sampled in many of the towns pubs
