Old Dairy, The
A tastefully and comfortably furnished detached cottage with small enclosed garden next to our 17th Century longhouse. The cottage is set in a lush valley and you are free to wander around seven acres of fields, garden and woodland bounded by Rookery Brook. It is a haven of peace with only the sound of birds and the stream, yet it is only 20 minutes drive from Exeter and less on to Dartmoor. The property is one mile from Bridford and one mile from Christow in the Teign Valley just inside Dartmoor National Park. Nearby are some excellent pubs and restaurants as well as many tourist destinations and facilities for walking, golfing, fishing, bird watching and riding. The nearest beaches are only 30 minutes drive away and those in East Devon and South Hams slightly further.
The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, digital TV with freeview and integral DVD player, radio and CD player, log-effect heater and storage heaters, hairdryer and bathrobes. All linen is provided so just bring yourselves and some food! Wi-Fi connected and mobile available on site.
Perfect for a lazy holiday or a cosy long weekend, healthy walks with the dog and good local food in a nearby pub.
