Stone cottage with wood burner, situated on a smallholding in a peaceful and secluded rural location. Search for trilobites in our private fossil quarry http://www.littlewern.ukfossils.co.uk/ relax in beautiful country surroundings or if you are feeling active, visit the nearby Brecon Beacons National Park, featured on BBC1 Secret Britain and Iolo Williams' ultimate guide to the Brecon Beacons or cycle national route 825 which passes the end of our road.
The Royal Welsh Showground is only 20 minutes drive away. Short breaks from 2 nights usually available

Our animal residents include chickens, ducks, ponies and dogs. We have 2 acres of ancient woodland, full of bluebells in late sping, where you are welcome to walk. There is plenty of parking in front of the cottage.
Only a short drive from several Nature Reserves (http://www.rwtwales.org) and Llandrindod Wells Victorian Spa town. From there, visit the small market town of Rhayader - gateway to the Elan Valley, 'The Lakeland of Wales'. Little Wern is an ideal base from which to explore this unspoilt area of Mid Wales.
Sleeps 6 in comfortable accommodation consisting of:- upstairs, 2 double and 1 twin bedroom (all good sizes) and a large bathroom with bath, basin and WC. There is also a put-me-up single bed suitable for an additional child making sleeping arrangements for a total of 7 if required. Downstairs:- fitted kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher. Hallway and a spacious lounge dining room with wood burning stove. Garden area with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and countryside.
