Balebarn Lodge is a stunning single-storey lodge on an eco-friendly livestock farm less than two miles from Winkleigh. The lodge has a king-size double, a twin which can be offered as a king-size double on request, a single with additional pull-out bed, and a room with bunks. There are two shower rooms, and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with woodburner. There is off road parking for two cars, and bi-folding doors opening onto a lovely veranda overlooking a large wildlife lake. Guests also have shared use of the farm grounds, including walks, a mown badminton court and campfire area. Balebarn Lodge is close to stunning walks and the coast is easily accessible, as is the dramatic scenery of Dartmoor.

The small rural village of Winkleigh in Devon offers a shop, Post Office, butcher's, cafe, two pubs and a cider company. There are walks and cycle routes all around, with the Dartmoor National Park a big draw, plus the city of Exeter is within driving distance.
