Jock's Cottage | Smailholm Mains Farm Cottages: Located in the heart of the scottsh Borders just a few miles West of the picturesque town of Kelso, Smailholm Mains Farm holiday cottages offer an Ideal opportunity to unwind amidst the unspoilt splendour of the surrounding landscape where soft rolling countryside and historical landmarks to create a wholly unique back drop for a holiday.<P>
Traditional Farm Cottages on Mellerstain Estate and run by the Shaw Family, which produces beef, lamb, barley and swedes. and offer you a high standard of accommodation that retains the character and charm of the locality.<p>
In walking distance off Smailholm Tower, a historic place to visit and the near by town of Kelso also offers visitors a wealth of tourist attractions and many interesting places to visit notably its cobbled square which conjures up ambience and atmosphere that appears almost timeless in the day and age of high speed modern life.<p>
Also don't forget your day at the races a round of golf on one off the many courses around us and fishing in the Tweed.<P>
