	Stunning views greet visitors to these lovely apartments set on the hillside overlooking picturesque Polperro Harbour – their south facing terraces offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy watching the fishing boats and waterside activity in the harbour below. Polperro, one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall, is a wonderful location for a holiday, whatever the season – quaint white and colour washed cottages line its narrow, winding lanes, and small shops, seafood restaurants, craft galleries and a smugglers' museum where visitors can discover the village's fascinating history are just a short walk down the hill. A small, clean sandy beach is revealed at low tide and, just beyond the harbour, there is a part natural, part manmade seawater swimming pool. Fishing trips and pleasure cruises are readily available from the quayside and in the winter months, Polperro famously hosts a variety of village festivities, particularly at Christmas and New Year. The coastal path affords spectacular clifftop walking to the sheltered smuggling cove of Talland Bay, a popular choice for swimming and snorkelling and also home to a good beachside café, whilst the secluded beaches of Lantivet and Lantic are one of Cornwall's best kept secrets. A little further along the coast lie the family friendly beaches and riverside quays at Looe, a colourful and bustling fishing port, and departure point for splendidly scenic railway journeys up the East Looe line to the market town of Liskeard. The National Trust properties of Lanhydrock and Cotehele are both easily accessible as are the amazing Eden project (22 miles) and the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan. Plymouth, historic setting for Britain's largest Aquarium, theatres, cinemas, caasinos and clubs as well as a dry ski slope, is 25 miles distant and inland, the unspoilt beauty of Bodmin moor provides excellent walking and open air theatre in summer. St Mellion's renowned golf course is 16 miles. Shops and pubs serving food are 300 yards down hill.
