This is a splendid walking and cycling area – the lovely Manifold Trail leads from the village through Wetton Mill (NT) towards Hartington. Dovedale, Blackbrook Park Zoo, Alton Towers and Splash Landings are all under 6 miles whilst Chatsworth and Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood (NT) are about 20 miles. Shop and cycle hire 0.25 miles, pub serving food 200 yards.
