Corner Cottage
Directly overlooking the Polperro quayside with beautiful views of the harbour, Corner is a cosy little cottage located right in the heart of this lovely Cornish fishing village. From the lounge and master bedroom windows, set above the well known local fudge shop, visitors can observe the busy comings and goings of village life, the ebb and flow of the tides and the daily spectacle of fishermen returning with their catch. The cottage itself has a quirky charm with low ceilings and beams and is comfortably furnished throughout. From the front door, it is only a few steps away to the many popular inns, restuarants and shops that surround the harbour, whilst for the more energetic, there are miles of rugged coastline and beaches to explore. Alternatively, nearby Looe provides a host of diversions and the many attractions of North and South Cornwall are easily accessible by car.
Accommodation:
Approximately ten steps lead to the front entrance. Sitting room with sofa (extends to double sofa bed), two armchairs, woodburner effect electric fire, TV, DVD and harbour views. Kitchen/diner with dining table to seat four, ceramic hob, built-under oven, fridge and microwave. Stairs up to first floor. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed and views over the harbour. Twin bedroom with two 2ft 6in beds. Bathroom with bath, rain shower head over, hand basin and WC.
Parking: No designated space provided, but you can purchase a weekly ticket at the car park at the top of the village (approximately 10 mins walk, charges apply). Alternatively, Toad Hall Cottages offer 3 spaces in the village on a first come, first serve basis - please enquire at the time of booking.
