Enjoying an elevated position with outstanding views across Luxulyan Woods and Tywardreath Village with patchwork fields reaching down to the sea. Green Acres provides a delightful rural retreat far from the madding crowd and just 3 miles from the famous Eden Project - the wonderful global garden - and the charming 1000 year old stannary town of Lostwithiel. Near the south coast, close to St Austell Bay, Green Acres enjoys views spanning from Chapel Point, Mevagissey to Gribben Head with its famous day mark on the approach to Fowey. Just 3 miles from Par Beach, 4 miles from Polkerris and just 5 miles from Carlyon Bay and the picturesque waterfront at Fowey with its stylish yachts and brightly coloured fishing boats and small beach at Readymoney Cove. Looe and Polperro are nearby and Green Acres is also a well placed venue for many varied country and coastal path walks. Follow the Camel Trail from nearby Bodmin to Padstow by cycle or on horseback or simply unwind in the relaxed atmosphere of Green Acres. This superb complex of just ten de luxe Cornish stone-faced cottages is set in around two acres and surrounded by stunning views of the countryside. All cottages are equipped and furnished to de luxe standards and have been awarded 4 stars by Visit Britain. There is an indoor heated swimming pool with changing rooms plus shower and toilet. From reception basic essentials can be purchased and this area also includes a coin-operated laundry. There is a mini 'garden farm' adjacent to the complex where fresh produce is sometimes available. Most of the grounds are laid to lawn with fruit trees scattered around with a barbecue area for communal use in addition to some cottages having their own brick built facility. A small childrens outside play area is located alongside the pool complex. The excellent facilities include: • Ten cottages each with 2 bedrooms, one double (mostly ensuite) and one twin both with tv and dvd • Each property has 2 de luxe bathrooms, some with bath • Lounge/diner with widescreen tv and selected satellite channels including Sky sports, plus dvd and quality double sofa bed (excluding cottage 6 - max 4 persons) • Well equipped kitchen area with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer. • All bedding, made up for your arrival, comprises pillows, duvet and linen • All towels and tea towels provided • Full double glazing and underfloor heating, plus wood burner in the lounge • Free wireless internet access • Patio or verandah with barbecue and garden furniture • Coin-operated laundry • Reserved private parking • Indoor heated swimming pool with changing rooms plus shower and toilet • A small childrens outside play area is located alongside the pool complex • Basic essentials can be purchased from reception area • Mini Graden Farm. 	Penpillick By Road Follow A30 past Exeter, then the A38 to Plymouth, continue along A38 and then take A390 signed St Austell. Go through Lostwithiel and after 3 miles just past sign for Penpillick take left turn signed Treesmill and Tywardreath, then take 2nd right, Green Acres is just 100yds on the right. By Rail/Coach The nearest rail station is Par 2 miles away, and coach station is St Austell 5 miles away. By Air Newquay Airport is 20 miles away.
