The front door opens directly into a large living room. This attractive open plan room has low beams (tall people mind your head!) and a feature inglenook fireplace inset with a woodburner. The room has wooden floors, a dining table to seat 6 and a sitting area with a three-seater sofa and chairs. A wall mounted flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and CD/radio/MP3 player. Fully fitted tiled kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with icebox, and washer/dryer. Off the rear hallway is a modern fitted bathroom with rose head shower over bath, basin and WC. Carpeted stairs from the living area (please note low headroom) to three bedrooms; a pretty double bedroom 5ft bed with hanging hooks and chest of drawers, a twin bedroom with 3ft wrought iron bedsteads and fitted wardrobe and a bunk bedroom with built-in 2ft 6in bunk beds and sturdy ladder. Please note there is no natural light in this room and it is only suitable for children under the age of 10
The cottage has its own attractive fenced and enclosed garden that is reached along a communal pathway that also provides access to other gardens. There is an arbour, paved patio area with table and chairs and built-in brick barbecue - a delightful spot for al fresco meals. There is a right of way at one side of the garden to a neighbouring garden.
