Nestled on the hillside looking down to South Pool, and spur of the Salcombe Estuary, this charming detached stone barn is an ideal base for couples, small families, or a romantic retreat for those wishing to get away from it all. The barn is set amongst acres of beautiful countryside with lovely far reaching views. It is a short distance from the golden beaches of the estuary - famous for its sailing, the coastal towns of Salcombe and Kingsbridge, Dartmoor and the South West Coastal Path. The latter, plus the labyrinth of Devon country lanes and footpaths provide endless opportunities for walking and mountain biking. It’s location close to South Pool, with its Gastro pub, thatched cottages and stream with village ducks makes this a charming Devon bolt-hole.
 

Accommodation:

Ground Floor:  Lounge with sofa and easy chairs, log burner, flat screen TV , DVD and portable hifi.  Well equipped galley style kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge with ice box and dining table with foldaway chairs to seat 4. Washing machine facilities available upon request. Ground floor wet/shower room.  First floor, Bedroom 1, king size bed with built in cupboards and wardrobe and glimpses of South Pool creek. Bedroom 2, twin single beds and built in cupboard and wardrobe.

Outside:

Private area of lawn immediately outside the Barn with garden furniture, plus guests are welcome to fully enjoy all of the beautiful surrounding grounds from which there are stunning views of South Pool and the surrounding countryside.

Parking: for up to two cars in private parking bay in front of property.
