Only a mile from the beautiful, totally unspoilt Lannacombe beach and tucked down winding lanes in a peaceful Devon valley, Oak End Barn is a superb spacious family holiday property, in the middle of a terrace of three handsome barns which have been converted to a very high standard. Set in the tiny hamlet of South Allington, a short drive to Beesands and South Pool, the property is very spacious, light and bright with many interesting features and superb quality bespoke oak furniture and fittings. Gleaming tiles and polished wood floors with attractive rugs create a welcoming atmosphere, a treat to return to after an energetic day walking the coastal path (1 mile), or making sand castles and enjoying the rock pools at Lannacombe!
Accommodation:
Front door into tiled hallway with feature stone walls. Spacious lounge with beautiful oak beams, two sofas, armchair, flat screen TV and DVD, feature fireplace (not operative) and French doors to the terrace and garden. Very well equipped and fitted kitchen/diner, ceramic hob, built-in double oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and dining table to seat 6. Ground floor cloakroom with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, basin and WC. Carpeted stairs to panelled landing. Very spacious master bedroom with beautiful 5ft oak bed. Two twin bedrooms both with 3ft oak beds. All the bedrooms have solid oak bedroom furniture, polished wooden floors and rugs. Family bathroom with bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside:
The barn faces over its own private garden, screened with attractive willow fences and has a lawn and raised flower beds planted with shrubs and young trees. Paved terrace at the front with table and chairs. Barbecue available on request from the owner. A walkway runs across the end of the enclosed garden and provides access to one other property.
Parking: Large open sided garage with 2 designated spaces.
